Saladin 1.0 released

Version 1.0 of Saladin is available for download. You can see a presentation of the most important new features in this video created by Łukasz Grabowski:

The most important and visible change is a completely redesigned, modern user interface, which includes a new toolbar layout, new icons drawn by Łukasz Grabowski, dark and white themes and a compact mode in which the toolbar is collapsed into a menu bar. Now you will have more room than ever for working with your files.

The internal file viewer also has a lot of improvements. You can now select multiple files, view them using the Shift+F3 shortcut and quickly navigate between them using P and N shortcuts (or Alt+Left/Right if you prefer). The text viewer can display line numbers and the image viewer can automatically rotate JPG images and display detailed information about images. Also, the last used search phrases and file patterns are now remembered across various Saladin functions.

Another small but useful feature is the ability to configure a home directory, separately for each panel, and to quickly switch to that home directory using the home icon or the Alt+Home shortcut.

Saladin now supports six languages, including the new German and Russian translations created by Oliver Osranek and Aleksey Cheremnykh. Many thanks to all contributors and the entire community of Saladin users!
