This would be a great feature to add - I have used other dual pane manages, but I love the simplicity, speed and portableness of Saladin. Tabbing would allow the flexibility of a single or multiple instance, but is particularly useful on smaller screens.
Yes, using tabs would allow multiple dirs. multiple instances help but in some cases having more than 2 dirs is preferable.
It wouldn't be very difficult to add multiple tabs to Saladin, I just need to find some spare time to do it.
